    Tabassum Salam, MD, FACP is Vice President for Medical Education at the American College of Physicians, which is the largest specialty medical society in the US. Dr. Salam has been involved across the spectrum of medical education, having served as Associate Residency Program Director, Undergraduate Medical Education Clerkship Director and Director of Continuing Medical Education in Internal Medicine. She has also served as Medical Director of Population Health, focused on collaborating with physicians, clinicians and the care team, and integrating new technological solutions in the transition towards value-based care. She has practiced in both outpatient and hospital settings in Pennsylvania and Delaware. She received her medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania, and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the Medical College of Pennsylvania-Hahnemann Hospitals, where she also served as Chief Resident.
