Gregory KruseAVP of Strategic Operations and Intelligence Penn Medicine

    Gregory Kruse is the Associate Vice President of Strategic Operations and Intelligence at Penn Medicine, a $7 billion health system consisting of 6 acute care hospitals across Southeastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware. In this role, he leads the health system’s value-based care initiatives, data analytics & business intelligence, and connected health programs. Previously, Greg held leadership positions at Bristol-Myers Squibb in Global Outcomes Research.

    Prior to Penn Medicine, Greg was a doctoral student studying health economics and management at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania focused on improving the efficiency of health care delivery systems, value-based delivery care models, diffusion of high-technology medical procedures and devices, and dynamic competition in the pharmaceutical industry. Greg lectures at Wharton on health care topics including hospital and physician payment, health care management, and telemedicine.

    Greg received his MSc from the London School of Economics in econometrics and mathematical economics, a MPH from Yale University specializing in health management, and a BS in biomedical engineering from Johns Hopkins University.
